About Me

I make perverse films focused on photography, forbidden desire, reproduction, transformation, and memories. My work has streamed on MUBI and as a Vimeo Staff Pick, played on Dutch TV, and won awards at the Slamdance Film Festival (Best Experimental Short), Chicago Underground Film Festival (Best Looking Film), Ann Arbor Film Festival, and Big Muddy Film Festival. Recently, my films have screened at the Fantasia International Film Festival, Fantastic Fest, and the Palm Springs International ShortFest. I’ve received several awards and fellowships from both the Ohio Arts Council and the Greater Columbus Arts Council. In 2016 I was awarded a fellowship at the inaugural Shudder Labs where I workshopped a feature-length horror/sci-fi film.

I have an MFA from the Cranbrook Academy of Art (with an emphasis in Photography) and a BFA in Media Studies from the Columbus College of Art & Design. For over 17 years I worked at the Wexner Center for the Arts, both as a video editor in their Film/Video Studio and as a project manager overseeing the archive of the Film/Video Studio. Recently I’ve been freelancing as an editor/consultant editor while writing a feature, taking photos, and designing jigsaw puzzles.

More info on my work as an editor can be found here.
